The firm was founded in1997 by Jim Azling, CPA, who was licensed in California as a CPA in 1991. After graduating from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Jim joined the Orange County office of KPMG Peat Marwick. Here he focused his public accounting career in financial institutions with an emphasis on commercial banks. Jim continued working in the financial institution industry with large local companies Pacific Mutual Life Insurance and Long Beach Mortgage Company (and its predecessor Long Beach Bank, FSB).
Jim has expertise in many industries including construction, distribution, light manufacturing, mortgage, non-profit and service related.
